HAWKE’S BAY POVERTY BAY THOROUGHBRED BREEDERS ASSOCIATION

The purpose of our association is to promote and represent the interests of breeders in the Hawke’s Bay Poverty Bay District and encourage new breeders into the market; be of assistance in liaising with other sections of the industry and enhance the racing industry.

Any breeder or those just merely interested in the industry may join.

Hawke’s Bay Poverty Bay Thoroughbred Breeders Association has a fairly strong membership and many local breeders in the district. We all get together to enjoy a variety of events hosted throughout the year. 

Members and Non-Members are welcome to attend our events. 

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the thoroughbred industry - whether already working within it or looking to become involved. 

It is a great opportunity to network and enjoy fun social events.

BECOME A MEMBER

The annual fee of $225 (Incl. GST) which goes towards supporting the NZTBA as they endeavour to advocate for and promote the well-being of NZ thoroughbred breeders and their horses.

Always a popular event not to be missed. Join us for breakfast at Game Lodge Racing Stables followed by a tour to view some of our local weanlings & yearlings and at the conclusion of the tour, join us for a delicious lunch & silent auction at Valley d’Vine Restaurant.
